This morning, we were up early to catch our tour for the day. Outside of our hotel we caught the cable car down to Fisherman’s Wharf. From there, we headed to Bay City Bikes to meet our tour guide to Bike across the golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. We booked this tour on Viator, here. I would recommend downloading the MuniMobile app and selecting an all inclusive pass for the amount of days you are in San Francisco. This eliminates the use of cash and allows you to make transportation decisions quickly. Othewise, the trip on the Cable Car costs $8.00/ea. The only transportation that the all-inclusive pass did not work for was the trip to and from the airport (via BART, $10.50/way).

For our bike tour, I would highly recommend that you are proficient bike riders. The most intimidating part of the ride was crossing the bridge. There are so many “professional” bike riders that are fast and do not care for tourists stopping for pictures. This isn’t to discourage you, just letting you know what to expect.

Once we arrived in Sausalito, our guide gave us some suggestions for things to do and our ferry passes. We locked up our bikes near the ferry and went to eat lunch at Scoma’s.

Sauaslito is such a quaint little town that offers food, shopping, and beautiful views of the bay. If you are in San Francisco, I would highly recommend you include Sausalito in your your trip.

After our ferry ride bike to Fisherman’s Wharf, we returned out bikes and got an Uber ride to the Walt Disney Family Museum. If you know how much we love Disney, this was a must see. I had roughly planned on 1.5-2 hours here. We could have EASILY spent more time and were rushed out because it was closing time. So many great artifacts and great information!

After the museum, we headed to Warfare Tavern for our dinner reservation. We Uber’ed back to our hotel after Dinner. We were worn out!
