Shortly before our trip, our tour scheduled for this day got canceled. Our tour operated suggested we go to the Costswolds. We had a driver that took us to 5 different towns in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds is a region of England in Gloucestershire. These towns feature the rolling hills, stone houses, and charm that is so English.

Our first stop was Burford. Here we did some window shopping and had coffee and pastries at a local bakery.

Our next stop was Lower Slaughter. This was a mostly residential community that we walked some trails through.

Our next stop was Stow-In-the-Wild, where we had fish and chips at The Stag.

We then stopped at Bourton-on-the-Water, where we walked around little shops and had ice cream by the river.

Our last stop was at Bibury, which features Arlington Row. Arlington Row is a row of picture perfect cottages from around the 14th century.

After this, we headed back to London. This tour was a beautiful glimpse of the English Countryside, but there were some other areas that I thought we were going to see and didn’t, so that was disappointing.

We found a fun place for gelato to end our night.
