Thanksgiving in New York: Day 4

11/25/2025

We started out our day with Liberty Bagels. This was something on our food list for this trip.  I ordered ahead for pickup from their website and when we got there the line was very long. I highly recommend ordering for pickup ahead of time. There were so many options, it was hard to choose. I got the everything bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese, Jack got the rainbow bagel with blueberry cream cheese and plain cream cheese, Kate got the rainbow bagel with peanut butter Nutella cream cheese, and Dan got “The works”. We pre-ordered and picked up Starbucks on the way to Liberty Bagels. After we picked up our bagels, we found a bench near Central Park to eat.

After we ate, we walked along 5th Avenue down to Bryant Park. We have noticed this wonderful Christmas smell along 5th Avenue everyday, and we finally found the source. The brand Nest has sponsored these decorations that pump out smell continuously. Dan has to stop at every construction site along the way.

Bryant Park has a Christmas Market with a skating rink and all kinds of little shops and places to eat. The kids and Dan got strawberries covered with chocolate and I got pasta mixed in a wheel of parmasean cheese. We did a little shopping and went back to the hotel to watch Christmas movies

We had dinner at La Grande Boucherie, which was conveniently right behind our hotel, before going to see the Radio City Rockettes. It was a good meal, but not amazing. With it being a rainy evening, the location was a definite plus.

The Rockettes were amazing. The show was so entertaining and just iconic. The Rockettes are celebrating their 100th year this year and they had a video about their history, which was interesting. Photography is not allowed so I did not get any pictures. Our show was packed and they run four shows a day through Christmas.
