The only item on the agenda for our last day in New York is the Illinois vs UConn game at Madison Square Garden. We already had this trip booked when we found out Illinois would be playing here during our trip and we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to watch them. Although the Illini lost, we still had a good time. It was overwhelmingly a UConn crowd, but we had a few Illinois fans around us.

After the game, we went to another highly rated pizza place, Lazarra’s. It was also a 9.3 on Barstool by Dave Portnoy.  We all decided that John’s of Bleeker Street was our favorite we tried. Kate liked Joe’s near Times Square because they had a white pizza.

While we were there at Lazarra’s, we learned our flight home was canceled due to the expected snow storm. We promptly rescheduled to a new, earlier flight, so fingers crossed we make it out on time in the morning!
