We started our day with a Kensington Palace tour. The primary part of the tour was the King’s Staterooms and Queen Victoria’s childhood. Queen Victoria was born in Kensington Palace and resided there until she became Queen and moved to Buckingham Palace. While her dad died when she was 8 months old, she could not solely take her spot on the throne until she was 18.

Princess Diana lived there with Prince Charles and after the divorce until her death. Prince William and Princess Kate lived there before moving to their country home. It remains the official London residence.

We ate lunch at The Orangery right next to Kensington Palace in Kensington Park. I think the beauty of the building was the best part. The Orangery was commissioned by Queen Anne as a lavish greenhouse for her beloved orange trees in winter.

After lunch, we headed to the Victoria Palace Theatre to see Hamilton, featuring Leslie Odom, Jr. When he announced he was going to be in the London production while we were visiting, we knew we had to go.

After Hamilton, we met back up with my parents for Dinner at our London favorite, Harry’s Dolce Vita.

And finally, my outfit today. It needed to be comfy as I left the hotel at 9:15am and returned at 9:00pm.
