Today, we ported in Alesund and it looked a bit dreary and rainy. The weather showed highs and lows in the 50s. Alesund is quite a bit bigger than Maloy with a population of 52,000. We were not the only ship in port today.
We walked around near the port to start our day. This bench that Kate was sitting on had hot water running through it so it was warm to sit on.

After we walked around, we met up for our fishing excursion. Luckily, the weather held and while it was cool, it was not rainy. We caught a ton of mackerel and our lines had multiple hooks, so we were catching up to five at a time. Our guide cooked the mackeral for us to eat.

After our excursion, we found a local restaurant where I got the most delicious fish soup.

Again, my walk on the ship track had beautiful views today.

I had already posted this, then this happened. Norway is just so beautiful.

Last but not least my outfit of the day. Luckily, they had suits to wear on the boat, and I took advantage. Those mackeral are bloody fish. This outfit with my wind jacket (that Kate wore) was a perfect choice for my day in Alesund.
